Here's my holiday diary : 1st Dec - Went to Changi Airport Terminal 3,to board the SQ flight to Sydney! Reach there at 9pm... Cos have to bring my brother to see a doctor. He's so pathetic,the first day we were starting our holiday,he's sick.. I thought the flight was at 12am but instead it was 1am in the morning!! I was so tired tat I fell asleep while waiting to board the plane... 2nd Dec - Finally reach Sydney!! Such a beautiful city!! Thank goodness it was not raining today! Just a sunny tuesday afternoon.. The flight took 8 hours. But since Sydney was 3 hrs ahead of Singapore time,the total flight time was 11 hrs!!! Reach Sydney at 11am(Singapore's time) but in here,Sydney,we reach at 1pm!!! Totally lost a whole 3 hrs!! I actually thought we were going to stay in Sydney first than go n visit other places.. But apparently,we were going to the Blue Mountains first... which my mum said it will be very cold up there the mountains,espacially in the night... I totally have no idea why they call the place Blue mountains?? It dosen't look blue to me at all. Maybe it looks blue in the night cos in the morning its just ordinary brown colour like any other rock colour... Visited a lot of the So freaking cold up here in the mountains!!! Espacially in the night!! :D 3rd Dec - Went to Wollongong today.... It's a quite littile town. I realised something tat all the shops close at 5pm!!! shops in singapore close at about 9pm lol.... Also visit the Nan Tien temple! took a lot of pics! Nothing to say much... 4th Dec - Now at Canberra!!! The capital city of Australia!! So pretty!! Canberra,unlike any other cities in Australia,is a planned city... The river there is man-made. But the bad thing is tat is does not have an international airpot, only a domestic airpot where only small little planes can fly in. But is nice anyway... Saw lots of embassy there,espacially the Singapore embassy. Modern-looking... The biggest embassy there is the United States Of America embassy! Its so big!! Get to go in the Parliament house!!! Which they dont allow in Singapore!!! It's so nice!! N the floors n staircase are made of marble... Also went to Questacon which is kind of like Singapore Science Centre... It tells most about science stuff.. Quite fun there... :D Went to a place with a lot of minature people and houses,stuff like tat,in a very beautiful garden... So beautiful!!! :D 5th Dec - Currently at Sydney!! The last stop of the trip!!! Sad... :( Went to see the Habour Bridge n the Sydney Opera House!!! Oh! So gorgeous!!! My goodness... the view is so pretty!!! After tat,we took a cruise to sighseeing. Went to lots of places to see see look look. The buildings there were marvellous... :D Also went to Chinatown to shop for stuffs... :P 6th Dec - My 2nd last day in Australia!!! ARGH!! :( Today was free n easy which means we spend the whole day by ourselves without any tour guide.. It was kind of fun,got to take the monorail n travel around the city. Went to a lot of shopping centers n bought tons of stuff!!! Went to the Paddy's Market too. Which is kind of like Pasar Malam like tat cos thre's a lot of things to buy there n they sell lots of stuff.Bought a nintendo DS!! It's so much cheaper than in Singapore lol... In the night,went to the Sydney Aquarium!! Saw lots of beautiful fishes n sharks!!! Wat an exciting day I had!!! :D 7th Dec - My last day here!!! :( I dont feel like going back to Singapore!!! Spent the last day by shopping around Chinatown n the habourfront area.Also took the tram which was kinda fun... In the morning,we went to the Sydney Maritime Museum which they showcase the history of battleships,things like tat which my brother love the most... Get to look inside a battleship and a submarine!!! U have to climb in the submarine which was so tiring... But fun!!!! Took a 6pm plane back to Singapore. There was some kind of delays cos there was a lot of passengers with very large hand carry luggage. The lady keep on telling the guy the plane is very small,cannot carry it up in the plane... The plane tat we were sitting on was quite new only a year old. So tat's good... When we came back to Singapore it was already 12am. Reach home at 1am!!!! So tired!!! :( |
